Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Rome, Borromeo Hotel welcomed me into its stylish lobby, where I found a cozy TV room perfect for sipping espresso from the nearby Espressamente Illy. As a fashion photographer always seeking inspiration, the Wi-Fi access allowed me to share creative moments effortlessly. My mornings at Borromeo were a treat. The continental breakfast, served on the delightful Roof Garden in the summer, offered a serene start amidst the bustling city. La Mucca Biricchina, just a stone's throw away, became my go-to spot for a taste of local flavors. For dinner, I ventured to Robin Hood, nearby yet a world apart in culinary experience. The gastronomic journey continued at Chicken House, where simplicity met exquisite flavors. These dining spots, mere steps away from the hotel, allowed me to indulge in authentic Roman cuisine.Whether strolling to Welcome Fast Food for a quick bite or relaxing with a cocktail at Gallo Matto, the proximity to these culinary delights made my stay at Borromeo truly unforgettable. In the evenings, I found solace at Taverna Urbana, immersing myself in the charming Roman ambiance. Borromeo Hotel's central location and culinary offerings make it a haven for any traveler seeking a gourmet getaway in the Eternal City.
